In 2023, I traveled alone to Barcelona for the first time. I brought my trusty Canon EOS 500N with a 50mm f/1.8 lens, excited to capture the city on film.
The newer façade of the Sagrada FamÃlia was designed by a different artist since GaudÃ’s original drawings were lost in a fire at the sanctuary.
Gothic Quarter
Walking through the Gothic Quarter, I was struck by how the light hit the old buildings, casting long shadows on the narrow streets. I took my time, snapping photos of random little moments—locals chatting at cafés, a musician playing in a quiet corner, a bike leaning against a graffiti-covered wall.
